A mother and her 5 little ones were abandoned in a cardboard box at the entrance to our shelter on Saturday

The depositors left as quickly as they came and did not leave the slightest explanation or information to our teams who were nevertheless present.

Once again, the pressure placed on shelters weighs heavily on our shoulders. With work in progress which limits our admissions, we are 100% full and we are expected to do the impossible to make room. For this mother and her babies, we urgently set up a cozy, quiet place under a heat lamp and the whole family is doing well. But our teams a little less: we are deeply outraged by these anonymous and irresponsible abandonments. Despite information and awareness campaigns, the implementation of laws and regulations to improve animal welfare, the situation does not seem to be changing. .

These tiny kittens and their mother are not yet adoptable
