Our team at the Refuge du Marais in Coutisse intervened at a private home in Bastogne on August 1st to extricate 11 Vietnamese baby pigs and their mother from the filth, all neglected and very stressed. Another female who was in too bad shape unfortunately did not survive…
This rescue was carried out with the associations Animaux et Péril and Le Rêve d’Aby which are satirized with this species and which had already intervened last February.
The eleven babies and their mother are now under our wing, warm and clean, at the Marais shelter. We take care of them, try to coax them little by little because they have been very stressed. They now need peace and quiet.
