Natural well-being for our protégés

At the refuge, we do everything we can to improve the well-being of our animals while they await adoption. Yesterday, we were lucky enough to welcome Anne-Valentine Sovet, behaviourist and naturopath, who is also certified in pharmazoocognosy, an approach that allows animals to benefit from the goodness of plants to better manage their emotions and health. 🌿🐾

Novanimalia, that’s her: www.novanimalia.be

Anne-Valentine has specially prepared Bach flower elixirs for our residents on a voluntary basis, designed to soothe our cats in quarantine, relieve the frustration of dogs in kennels and comfort those suffering from anxiety and loneliness.

But that’s not all! She’s also made some herself to give to us:

🐾 A nose and paw pad balm, ideal for protecting and repairing damaged little paws.
🐶 A ‘roll-bidou’, a gentle massage oil to help dogs with digestive problems.

With the agreement of our vet, these natural preparations are now offered to our protégés.

A huge thank you to this professional for her invaluable help. 💚
